Rovaniemi, Finland, October 31, 2026. Lynx in its relentless pursuit of winning races introduces the 2027 Lynx Rave 600RS E-TEC that takes a significant step forward with the introduction of a major handling package update featuring a new front suspension. Extensive late-season testing demonstrated improvements in lap times while delivering increased stability throughout the entire racecourse. The result is a more predictable, confidence-inspiring snowmobile that allows racers to push harder, attack obstacles with greater precision and maintain speed in some of the toughest snocross conditions.
New front suspension
The LFS Racing front suspension has been updated by moving the spindle 38 mm forward. This allows for a softer spring rate up front without sacrificing load-bearing capacity. The result: less diving on the outside ski through corners – a change that translated directly into faster lap times during spring track testing.
The longer wheelbase also improves longitudinal stability, making rough straightaways more controlled and predictable. The new A-arms are stronger than before, and the front suspension’s vertical travel has been increased by 22 mm. The shock absorber settings have also been recalibrated to match the updated suspension geometry.
Refined rear suspension
The rCTRL rear suspension receives a significant structural update. Suspension geometry has been fine-tuned to reduce coupling between the front and rear arms, giving each arm greater independence and improving overall suspension response. The rear shock mounting bracket has been raised, and the shock absorber slightly shortened to reduce stress on the components and improve reliability. Suspension travel has also been increased by 10 mm. New shock calibrations for both center and rear arms complete the package.
More performance
The 600RS E-TEC engine gets new cylinders with improved flow characteristics. Combined with a new engine calibration, this delivers more peak power, a broader powerband, and sharper throttle response.
The drivetrain has also been optimized to match the engine’s updated power curve. The entire powertrain has been fine-tuned for more efficient, more consistent power delivery. In the chaincase, the slip gear has been increased to 56 teeth, allowing for a longer chain and extended service life, and opening up a wider range of gearing options to fine-tune sled setup.
A redesigned air intake, now positioned at the top of the hood, ensures more consistent, stable power delivery across varying riding conditions – while also helping the sled meet the strict noise limits of the FIM Snocross World Championship series.
Brake and cooling optimizations
The brake caliper has been repositioned, making pad replacement easier – a change directly requested by riders. Brake lines and rotor guards have also been updated.
New aluminum toeholds trim approximately 800 grams from the sled’s total weight. The cooling system has been standardized as well, switching from a profile-type radiator to a plate radiator – without any compromise in cooling performance.
