First the USA – now Europe
First to arrive will be the SR Viper R-TX SE and L-TX SE – introduced in the USA last season – both models will also be joined by an exclusive, premium LE model. The X-TX SE, launched here last season, gets an upgrade with a special Cross Tour package, exclusive to Europe. Yet another premium model is the new X-TX LE with its 57 mm high Power Claw track – it heads up the extreme crossover segment and its formidable SRV Mountain chassis is also the ‘backbone’ of the completely new M-TX model line-up.
The 153 SE and 162 SE versions will be ready to conquer any terrain, from the remotest mountain areas to the steepest alpine slopes. The range is completed by the star at the pinnacle of the SRViper line-up, the M-TX 162 LE.
Yamaha snowmobiles continue to make history
So in every major ‘leisure’ category, from Mountain to Crossover to Sport, there’s a significant presence of new Yamaha SRViper 4-stroke models joining the already successful Yamaha Phazer and Apex machines – and all powered by the now legendary Yamaha Genesis engine. Add the cheeky, fun-packed little Yamaha SRX-120, which is already proving so popular as a way to get kids out on the snow on their own machines in company with the family… and that’s 14 Yamaha ‘leisure’ snowmobiles to choose from!

While the new SRVipers may steal the limelight to some degree, with their advanced-handling chassis and suspension designs – not to mention their supersharp looks and aggressive colour and graphic schemes – Yamaha never forgets its many loyal riders who use their snowmobiles for more leisurely touring – or just plain hard work! A schedule of upgrades and improvements to the 2015 Touring, Utility and Wide Track models is being introduced – and of course, more details of the latest specs for the RS Venture TF, Venture Multi Purpose, RSViking Professional and VK540IV can be found at Yamahas webpage.
