Problem:
Some units under specific riding conditions, may experience premature drive belt failure.
The drive belt is a wearable part that needs replacement at regular intervals.
Solutions:
Depending on model there will be 3 different solutions:
Solution 1: RAVE 850 E-TEC, XTrim 850 E-TEC RE 3500 44mm
Install engine mount update kit.
Solution 2: Xtrim 850 E-TEC RE 3500 59mm, Boondocker 850 E-TEC RE 3700
Install engine mount update kit.
Replace drive pulley pivot bolts.
Solution 3: All Boondocker 850 E-TEC except 3700 Series
Install engine mount update kit.
Replace drive pulley pivot bolts.
Adjust drive pulley clickers to position 2.
The engine mount upgrade will reduce engine movement and pivot bolt for BD models will offer better clamping force, this will help with belt durability.
