Wins Both ISOC Pro Lite Finals at Bessemer, Mich.

Polaris Pro Open Racers Are 2-3-4 in Points After Earning Three Podium Finishes

MEDINA, Minn. (Dec. 11, 2013) – After an impressive display of Polaris Terrain Domination in ISOC National snocross racing last weekend, Polaris racers are second, third and fourth in the Pro Open points standings, and Polaris racers fill the top five spots in the Pro Lite standings. Leading the way in Dec. 6-7 ISOC racing at Bessemer, Michigan, were Andrew Lieders, who won both of the weekend’s Pro Lite finals, and Pro Open racers Kyle Pallin, Kody Kamm and Ross Martin, each of whom earned a spot on the podium with a top-three finish.

In the weekend’s two Pro Open finals:

• Kyle Pallin (Team LaVallee), who is from Ironwood, Michigan, less than 10 miles from the race site, finished fifth and second in the two finals, and he left the Upper Peninsula second in Pro Open points.

• Kody Kamm (Hentges Racing) finished 3-4 in the weekend’s finals, and he is currently third in class points.

• Ross Martin (Judnick Motorsports) finished second and fifth, and he is fourth in points.

In the Pro Lite class:

• Andrew Lieders (Team LaVallee) won both finals and moved into second in the points standings, behind fellow Polaris driver Andrew Carlson (Carlson Motorsports).

• Five Polaris racers finished in the top 10 in both finals, including finishing 1-2-3-4 on Saturday.

• Polaris racers are in the top five spots in the points standings.

The weekend also included a win by Justin Tate (2-Eight Motorsports) in the Pro-Am +30 final.

PRO OPEN: Three Polaris Racers Reach the Podium

In Friday night’s Pro Open final, three Polaris racers finished in the top five, and in both of the weekend’s finals, Polaris racers earned five spots in the top 10. Ross Martin took second on Friday, while Kody Kamm was third, Kyle Pallin was fifth, Justin Broberg (Hentges Racing) was seventh, and Iain Hayden (Rockstar Energy Polaris) was 10th.

On Saturday, Pallin reached the podium with a second-place finish, followed by Kamm in fourth, Martin in fifth, Broberg in seventh, Jake Scott (Team LaVallee) in 14th, and Levi LaVallee (Team LaVallee) in 15th.

Polaris racers in the top 15 in Pro Open points were: 2. Pallin; 3. Kamm; 4. Martin; 7. Broberg; 10. Hayden; 12. Scott; and 15. LaVallee.

PRO LITE: Andrew Lieders Dominates at Bessemer

In the Friday night final, Andrew Lieders won and Andrew Carlson joined him on the podium with a third-place finish. Marcus Johansson (Carlson Motorsports) was fourth, Corin Todd (Leighton Motorsports) was sixth, and Zak Mason (Leighton Motorsports) was ninth.

In Saturday’s final, Lieders won again for a weekend sweep, and he led a Polaris parade across the finish line. He was followed by Todd in second, Carlson in third, Johansson in fourth, Mason in sixth and Trevor Leighton (Leighton Motorsports) in 12th.

After Bessemer, Carlson led in points by 8 ahead of Lieders, while Todd was third, Johansson was fourth, Mason was fifth, Leighton was 10th, and James Johnstad (Judnick Motorsports) was 13th.

Polaris Racers Win in Vets Class, Reach Podium in Pro-Am Women

Justin Tate won the Pro-Am +30 final at Bessemer, which put him second in class points, five points out of first. David Blunt (Team Blunt) took ninth and was ninth in points.

In the Pro-Am Women final, Jennifer Pare (Leighton Motorsports) finished second, which left her second in points, six points out of first. Jakki Farmer (Farmer Racing/Fort Fremont Racing) finished fifth, Rachelle Fountain (Fountain Racing) was sixth, Tabitha Bode (Team BSR) was seventh, Jennifer Martel was ninth, and Jessica Martel was 10th.

In the weekend’s Sport class finals, Evan Daudt (Daudt Racing) won on Friday and Braydon Love (444 Motorsports) finished second on Saturday.

The next ISOC National event will be Jan. 3-5 at Shakopee, Minnesota.
