"Hi everyone,
Steve here from BRPcare After-Sales support.
Here is some additional information regarding the 2017 Ski-Doo Model Year sleds:
Models equipped with the Rotax 850 E-TEC engine will have oil economy figures inline with the same levels as the 800R E-TEC engine.
MXZ and Renegade models equipped with the 850 Rotax engine will have pDrive clutches equipped with clickers for RPM adjustment.
All Summit REV- XM and REV Gen4 based models will now be equipped with one set of front idler wheels in addition to the rail mounted ice scratchers.
Summit REV Gen4 models will use a one-piece bottom gear rather than the proposed bi-metal gear.
BRP continually engineers and develops products for maximum performance and reliability without compromise - using these current values, the 850 Rotax engine has shown exceptional durability in late season testing with this calibration. BRP wants to ensure the best ownership experience for buyers of these premium and high-performance models. More performance than the Rotax 800R E-TEC with the same economy on both fuel and oil is something we feel confident you'll be very happy with.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them in this thread and we'll do our best to address them. Thanks, and have a great weekend!
- Steve"
