Safety Recallen heter 2013-11 Gäller alla varianter utom Skandic/Expedition

I korthet:
90 graders kopplingen på bränsleledningen från bränslepumpen kan spricka pga att slangklamret kommer i kontakt med oljetanken och därav fylla motorrummer med bränsledimma ........

SKI-DOO® – E-TEC FUEL PUMP INLET FITTING BREAKING
Dear Ski-Doo Snowmobile Owner,
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Act, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Act and Environment Canada. Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. and BRP US Inc. (“BRP“) have decided that a defect which relates to vehicle safety exists on certain Ski-Doo snowmobiles and are conducting a safety recall.
This recall is safety-related as well as emission-related. Our records show that you own a potentially affected vehicle.
WHAT IS THE POTENTIAL PROBLEM?
Under certain condition, fuel pump inlet fitting may become in contact with the oil tank and can break which could permit fuel to leak. If such leakage occurs, fuel vapor in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire and can potentially cause serious injuries.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Immediately stop using your Ski-Doo snowmobile and contact an authorized BRP Ski-Doo dealer and make an appointment to have your snowmobile repaired. Fuel and oil tank spacers will be installed. The dealer will perform this work at no charge to you.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU FEEL THIS NOTICE IS AN ERROR?
This notice was mailed to you according to the most current information we have available. If you no longer own this vehicle or some information in this notice is incorrect, please contact BRP at your earliest convenience.
NOTE: A broken fuel pump inlet fitting may cause the vehicle to release air pollutant exceeding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Environment Canada standards resulting in potentially failing a state or local emission inspection.
As defined in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations and the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, as a manufacturer, we are also required to correct vehicles that may be emitting pollutants in excess of emission standards. These emission standards were established to protect the public health or welfare from air pollution.
